Child protection

The safety of every participant under 18.

The Child Protection Standards bind every member of staff and every associate who has contact with people under 18. In force since 10 September 2026.

Your safety — the short version (for participants aged 15–17)

What you can expect from us, what staff may never do, and what to do if something is wrong.

Coordinators

These are the people any concern about a participant’s safety goes to. Anyone can make a report — a participant, a parent, a member of staff, or a bystander.

Where to report if the concern is about a member of our staff

If the report concerns someone who works at the school, you do not have to bring it to us. The bodies below take such reports independently.

  • Nearest police station

In urgent cases, call the emergency number 112.

  • District Prosecutor’s Office

For notifying a suspected criminal offence.

  • District Court — Family and Juvenile Division

For requesting a review of a minor’s situation.

  • Social welfare centre

Family support and the “Blue Card” procedure.

If you need help right now

  • 112

    Emergency services

Police, ambulance, fire — when someone is in immediate danger.

  • 116 111

Helpline for children and young people

Free, open around the clock. Run by Fundacja Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę.

  • 800 100 100

    Helpline for parents and teachers

Free support on matters of child safety.

The full Standards

Rules for safe relations with minors, recognising and reporting harm, and responding to risks.
